I used to drool, poop and pee all over myself and speak in coherently after a day of drinking. I couldn't hold a job and was forced to live with my parents . After 35 years, Reddit , I'm happy to announce all of that had changed ..

Hey, man, that's fucking awesome! As someone who struggles with multiple addictions I know that it's no easy feat. Be super proud of yourself! Hell, I don't know you and I'M proud of you. Keep it up, your life is gonna improve vastly. Never forget where you came from though, I thought I would never touch another drug in my life and that was a huge mistake. a month long hospital stay, 3 procedures and 1 surgery got me IV dilaudid every 4 hours a day and 2 1\2 years of my clean time went out the window. That was 5 fucking years ago. Point I'm trying to make is I know how hard it is, you accomplished something most people only dream of. You rock, dude!
