Is using the oven too expensive?

It's been a long time for me since I used my kill-a-watt meter, but I somewhat recall that the oven, stove, and microwave each uses 2500 watts of power, per second or something. 120 volts times by a high amperage, or something. My friend's i7 gtx1080 laptop ran for 12 hours straight and uses only a quarter of a kilowatt, or something. Cooking is not something I would be very energy conservative about, but would not be wasteful either. My electric bill is $25-35 hardly conserving electricity, but being mindful of turning off TV's in empty rooms, wearing sweaters, etc. My neighbors' are $300 and $450, but the latter has a pool to maintain. I've lost life savings in other regards, hospital bills, and all sorts of money woes, so we all win some and lose some. If I save $10 a month, I would use the oven less, which I do. Other people might see the cost as an investment in learning to cook. I've only loss money investing in half-learning things, but I see people spend money to make money and it works beautifully. One guy bought a Bently then met a surgeon in Beverly Hills who doesn't care that he's really broke.
