depends on the father, if the father was dumb like her then yes it would be nearly impossible or even impossible for such a couple to have a college material son/daughter.

my father is the dumbest people i know that still refuses to pay the money of the family Allowance to us monthly after a traumatic divorce turned like that because he litteraly never presented in front of the judge. (divorce happened in Albania and i was born and raised in Italy and he was at the in Italy while the divorce process happened in Albania.. no i'm not joking)

this caused us to pay three times what we would have payed normally since because of his negligence we got many processes delayed and i'm not even talking about his refusal of finding a job because unnecessary for him since my mother did, or him refusing to raise me and my sister while never being a father to me and to her.

dude i'm not here to tell a tale of my life or whatever but my point is one single parent doesn't fully determine the intelligence of a child since it comes from the genes of both of them... so yeah for her being college material she has to have a intelligent father.

(well i have no right to say this since i'm seriously anxious about my intelligence at times considered some of my genes comong from my "idiot" father which makes me feel that i'm like or a failure just like him even tho my mother is intelligent herself compared to him.)
