[V20] Questions from a newb ST

I used to play frequently with my friend and his parents in the late 90s to early 00s. Now, after more than a decade, I'm wondering questions just like this, while trying to rope my friends into starting a coterie to play. I've got my girl, my brother and his girl. They've decided on Tremere, Ventrue, and Brujah, with the Ventrue originally wanting to be Tzimisce. Now, as I'm writing plots, scenarios, NPCs, and little twists and things, I'm stressing the small stuff. We had our first session and I simply rewrote the "fetch the prince's prospect from spider in the brujah bar" and gave them 2 chapters, all with which they jumped into the game quite successfully, and without violent outburst or anxious rant about how hard RPin was, (which was surprising, dealing with a truly snarky Tremere neonate PC, a rambunctious streetracer brujah yungin, and a severely socially awkward Ventrue((wtf right?))

Moving on, The provided examples in the books (which I have all the PDFs I've been able to find, including a few from C:tD and M:tA and a few other slightly-off-topic WW books) are pretty good for starters, and the actually help a ton when one needs inspiration.

But, to cut this short, since it's not my post anyway, I just wanted to thank the respondents and add my own response: Just make sure you have fun, and try to think of ways in real life tht might bring them together. Like, if a ventrue was a cheerleader/jock, what business might she have in dealing with the weird necromancer wannabe goth kid(Lasombra or Gio or something) from Math class?

Well, perhaps he saw her being dragged under the bleachers at gym(staked and stuffed in trunk) and wanted to help, thus bonding them. Or they have a special assignment for the yearbook(prince/shady NPC) and the stakes are so high they figure, hell, why not?

My point is that all ya need are a core book, a few handfuls of D10s(there's apps for that now), a few character sheets (apps for this too) and some imagination.
