The VA is not as bad as you think

My biggest problem with the VA is the wait times that everyone seems to struggle with. I’ve heard story after story about someone waiting 2-3 hours(sometimes even more) just to see their PCM. That is simply not okay. Despite everything you posted here, I think most patients feel they are not adequately treated and that’s after an extensive wait period (i.e. wait 2 months for an appointment and then get seen 2 hours after your scheduled time.) I even read about a man that was seeking mental health care and he committed suicide because he simply could not get seen by the VA in a timely manner. Good healthcare or not something needs to change.
