Tastetosis is the best casting Archon. You know why?

Because Tasteless and Artosis are the perfect blend of regular guy and critical analysis in a casting duo. Seriously. I used to be a pretty hardcore gamer. I was competitive in the CS scene back in 1999 and 2000, played TF on HL on competitive servers (with pros), and played UT2k4 semi-competitively as well.

But I'm older now. I have less time I can invest into gaming. I'm trying to get married so I can start a family. I'm trying to increase my skillset so I can always stay at the forefront of my field. I am currently in my 4th week of working 70 hours a week, 8000 miles from home. Gaming takes a back burner.

Tasteless reflects that more grown up personality. Both him and Artosis really, but you see in Tasteless a drive to improve his speaking ability but also the drive to diversify his knowledge in life. His life doesn't revolve around gaming anymore, and it reflects itself in his casting. That's why I love his casting.

It brings a different style and personality to the forefront. Artosis reminds the ultra nerd that I used to be (I still get nerd chills!), and Tasteless has grown up; in a similar way I have. The chemistry, the friendship, those two have makes me want to watch SC2 again. And I have no TIME to watch it, but I'll probably pay for GSL just to have the ability to watch these two characters on the offchance.

He didn't destroy the scene, he lifted it up. Blizzard destroyed the scene with their antiquated business model, trying to complete against Free to Play models in the competitive scene.

Tasteless isn't a godmode knowledge caster, like Artosis is. But his personality draws you in. His good attitude and charisma keeps you interested. He doesn't shit on other people, he stays positive and funny (same as Day9!). I would KILL to have these two guys cast the NFL or something else. Their chemistry and passion is great, and missing in a lot of other sports casters out there.
