Value of a Single 1hr Lesson

Like others are saying, it really depends. If you are shooting better than 110 on decent courses (without cheating), you have some things that are working for you, and can keep the ball decently in play, probably lacking consistency, etc. After one lesson they have you make some changes that will make your swing feel very uncomfortable, so at first your consistency will probably fall, and if you go straight to the course the next day, you will want to go back to what is "comfortable" for you. Taking lessons requires you to push through hundreds of reps of new form until it starts to feel comfortable, and it won't happen on the course for most of us. But if you push through the growing pains and can practice what they are teaching you, it would make a big difference.
