Valve says a growing number of people are playing Steam games with a controller

"In the past two years, the number of daily average users playing a Steam game with a controller has more than doubled, with millions enjoying the growing catalog of controller-friendly titles everyday," Valve said.

How much has the daily average users of Steam grown by in that same period? This could be an increase, no real change, or a decrease in terms of % of Steam users who use a controller. Assumedly the number of average daily steam users has also grown significantly, but not as much as doubled, but this info would have been appropriate to include in this article. But then, this article is really just copy/pasting info from a Steam Press release, so includes little to no original content.
