Vanier men’s centre, the third of its kind in Canada, officially opens

I thought it was relevant to point out that there were toxic forces within the men's rights movement that really held projects like this back, and not just toxic women [...]

But why? Why preemptively start throwing divisive shit at other groups instead of just honouring the accomplishment and good that this group is doing? Why does everything have to be served with a side-dish of divisive identity politics.

in fact watching metacanadians get triggered so easily makes me jolly.

Great, slinging Ad Hominems now. "If you disagree with me, you're a racist/bigot/misogynist/metacanadian/<insert term here>"

Like I already said:

All you're doing is furthering the division and tribalistic "us vs them" nonsense.

Just like those "toxic MRAs" that you say are doing more to hurt the "real" Men's movement by being reactionary. You are doing more to hurt left/feminist/whatever you stand for movements by being toxic to everyone who doesn't have the same ideology as you. (i.e. everyone who might be just left of centre, a centrist, or just right of centre, a.k.a the majority of Canadians.)

You, personally, are contributing to the rise divisive identity politics and the rise of extremism by driving a wedge between the well meaning left and right with your divisive "us vs them" rhetoric.

Shame on you.
