What I am saying is that both parties have become corrupted by corporate money and both parties serve the interests of the wealthy and corporations - exclusively. There is no blowoff valve for the demands of the masses. Neither party is willing to stop the perpetual war machine. Neither party is willing to act to stop corporate polluters and oil company profits. Neither party is willing to reign in corporate greed. The liberals give empty platitudes and nothing more. We are a failing democracy which has fallen into corporate tyranny and fascism. You seem to hold some faith. I’m looking with clear eyes at the situation. I don’t think it will be solved. It has nothing to do with a desire to abolish the state. My politics have nothing to do with a cult of personality but with a rational economic and class based analysis of politics.

Bernie will be neutered by pearl clutching rich liberals which would prefer another Trump presidency to a democratic socialist who will crank up taxes if given the chance. Read history. Read political theory. It’s all there. This is the same timeline as pre-revolution Russia, Nazi Germany, the collapse of Russia and the Eastern Block. Human nature is static. And when rich liberals neuter the left - the only group offering a sober and clear eyed look at politics - and we descend into outright fascism and dismantle liberal democratic institutions after the November election don’t say you weren’t warned.
