I’ve stopped using Facebook and Instagram, leaving reddit as my sole social media outlet. Who else has done this and how has it changed you?

It baffles me that anyone could use Twitter as a legitimate social media outlet. IMO it’s just for jokes and shitposts. Unfortunately, even comedians nowadays can get pretty grandstandy on Twitter, but you can still find some good tweets. If you carefully curate the content you consume, who you follow and such, I think Twitter/insta can be good.

At the same time, I do think that social media is probably not the healthiest content to consume just because it seems so self-indulgent and voyeuristic. On one side, you’re trying to display the best version of yourself. On the other side, you’re obsessively viewing the best version of what others display of themselves (which we are all very aware are meticulously maintained yet somehow are still negatively impacted

I deleted FB 4 years ago tho because it’s so cancerous.
