Is it me, or are all the reddit trolls from the past two years utter morons?

It used to be there was an art to trolling. You had to make people believe you were serious, and then you caused some kind of online ruckus. There was some understanding of human psychology involved.

In the last two years, every troll I encounter is some kind of an imbecile. Why even bother trolling if you're just going to shitpost in a way no one's even going to take you seriously.

Like seriously think about what you new to be credible enough to at least cause trouble. It's obnoxious enough when people do that but there's a deftness to it, however troublesome.

Posts like yours are basically like bot spam.
