Vegetarians or Reddit, what’s your view on cannibalism?

I think it depends on context. Are they eating anyone already dead, or are they doing murder? Are they desperately hungry, addicted, or is it a cultural thing to eat their own deceased, with said deceased consenting to it in life? (idk any like that but I'm sure there's some out there)

I personally wouldn't do it, but I am aware of grey areas involving the subject. As long as you're not murdering or hurting people then I guess you can?

My main problem with meat in general is how the industry needlessly treats the animals horribly. Like if animals are going to be eaten, shouldn't they at least have a nice life before they die? If I ever do eat meat it will likely be for survival when there's not enough food, and even then I'd either hunt or support small farms but avoid the factory farms if I can.
