I might get downvoted for this but...

Let's be honest here, most of us weren't going to watch this show anyways. Scooby Doo isn't really a cult classic or beloved like ATLA or Teen Titans. Scooby Doo is like the Magic School Bus. It's popular with kids and nostalgia keeps it alive but most people don't really care about it. Velma only exists because of Hollywood's obsessive love for franchises.

Is Velma a good show? No not really. It's bland and forgettable but well-animated.

Velma only is getting this much hate because of the controversial race-swapping and the cringe meta humor in the teaser. It's now the new popular thing to hate on just like how several years back people nonstop hated Teen Titans Go.
