how is it a comparison of gold now vs later though? i wasn't saying to save on to stuff like whelps in the hope they reach 500g. i'd sell it for 10g or whatever i can get for it. i'm just saying you can make a lot more gold on the way to 60 with relatively little effort by selling a lot of items on the ah rather than vendoring everything. it takes barely any time to sell stuff on the ah with the addons and a bank alt. overall the time i spend mailing items and auctioning them is a tiny fraction of the time i spend levelling. so i don't really get what disadvantage there is to doing so. yeah if an item vendors for almost as much as its ah value i don't bother, but that's a fraction of drops you recieve levelling, and you said you vendor almost everything. it seems like you're just making less gold now when you could be making a lot more gold now with a tiny bit of extra effort.
