Vendor inside a major home improvement store, mistreated & pressured into doing THEIR employees work because they dont hire anyone. FLORIDA

Thanks for the response.

Well there are 200 people in my position across the United States (mostly Florida, California, Texas, New York) Our company handbook and the stores company handbook state that we are not to be covering the paint desk and we are not to be tinting paint for people besides our customers if we choose to do so. So being in the handbook has to mean something,

My direct manager always says "were in their house so we have to respect their rules" aka we have to be their bitch. The majority opinion of my manager, who has 24 total reps he's in charge of in Florida, is that he tries to say the generic corporate response to us when we come to him with the issue but then he doesnt act on it in hopes that we never bring it up again and it just goes away.. I have way too strong of a personality and am very vocal so I havent stopped talking about these issues. A customer of mine had his wife pick up an order once and she saw me alone in the paint department sweating and helping everyone and she wrote a letter to the stores corporate about how they are abusing me and using me lol. The store replied to her email and said "the issue has been taken care of we value <My Name> greatly" but there was nothing taken care of LOL.

What about the injury part while in the store while performing their employees tasks ... doing their tasks under the pressure of pretty much everyone that works there. Some associates even threatened me with "If you dont help us well sell <My Competitors> paint instead"

I am scared if I send anything to HR then my boss will hold it against me that I "told" on him..
