My parents put a camera behind my desk/pc so they can monitor me bc they're in a religion/cult that says swearing and bad words and shit corrupt you and make you have no morals etc.

Like I feel so constantly uncomfortable. It's always on and I have no idea when they're watching I feel like I'm in 1984. Like it's Orwellian. I'm 15 can I have some fucking personal space.

Like even if I'm not doing anything "innapropriate" sometimes I just want to do stuff without people watching. Like sing along to musicals or my favorite songs. Or have conversations with my friends. Or play games that, while innocent, are still things I wouldn't want to share
