Safety is important but... Look if everyone else was able to get to work there is no excuse for you not to get to work. You drive very slow and cautious. You leave earlier. You prepare in advance. How does the rest of the world make it to work in bad weather? World doesn't shut down because of mother nature. If your going to be late be late. Text whomever is management that day and say it's bad out I'm going to be late but I am on my way. No excuses. The $10/hr excuse is bs. How do all the millions of other Starbucks employees not complain and come in during bad weather?? If you can't handle what comes along with your job then just quit. Maybe work is too far for you so quit. Get a different job.
