How do you verify any revelation is real? Do you have some scripts from the heavens that you can compare it to? Why do you get to dictate which facts should have been in this book? Thats a weak argument. The leadership doesn’t have to be in the Quran because it was decided by the Companions after him. It is a metaphor and that doesnt need to be spelled out because thats how the language works and is understood. Do you need all metaphors spelled out in English? The Earth is not shaped like an ostrich egg because that ayah isnt translated correctly. I know Arabic and checked dictionaries and tafseers, its completely wrong to translate it as an egg. Its actually a verb which means he spread the Earth which means He created it and placed all the creations on it.
