Very loud and low rumbling noise?

There's a weird phenomena in Portsmouth caused by all of the new vertical structures being built downtown. I'm not a scientist but my friend is one and he said there's a "reverberation manifold" caused by the narrow spaces between these buildings. When the wind hits them at just the right way, a counterpart focal point somewhere randomly around town will open up and channel this terrible noise, exactly like what you described. The really chilling thing about it, though, is that a lot of people actually get a feeling of dread or terrible remorse when it happens. Some people are actually looking to put some funds together and try to capture the electrical/acoustic parameters of this because there is a very small chance, and this is going to sound insane, but I swear it's not, that a parallel Portsmouth NH is 1 degree out of phase with this one. What does that even mean? Well, there's only one reason you'd need to reach across dimensions like that and it's unmentionable, but if it's actually true, I think that every one of us here should be glad we're in this Portsmouth and not that one.

So if you hear that rumble, say a quick prayer and then try not to dwell on it.
