very unsure(mixing sobriety and drinking)

Do you actually want to stop? You have to have your mind made up to quit. Completely. For me, when I started actually trying to quit it became less about my emotions and just a scientific experiment of what will work. If I go home everytime always after work no matter what as a habit, I broke my main trigger of buying a six pack after work. I'm so much less likely to leave again after working 10 hours than when I would without thinking just be at a gas station without thinking buying beer on route to my house. If you are in the head space to quit, Time goes on regardless, try everything you can to change your habits so that you can meet your goals. And it helps to do this from an unbiased place instead of thinking about your emotions/ feelings/ wants in the moment.
