I always judge people based on who they are rather what they are. I know shitty white people, just as I know shitty black people. My neighbors are mostly Hispanic or black and they hate the shitty people of their race as well. The same thing goes for animals, I'm usually great with animals because I can read the signs they give off. But an asshole dog or cat or whatever is still an asshole, just like people. I used to have four cats, one died about 6 months ago. It hurt, however the one who died really didnt want to be part of the "family." She was aloof an snarled when you bothered her, I loved her but.... The other three are constantly by my side, looking for love and attention or just staying with me. I'm happy they're the ones left.
