Vettel video footage may be key to Alonso mystery

Exactly, especially considering the GPDA and the FIA are both doing investigations. The truth will out, as they say, eventually. So there was no point in hiding it.

Yes, maybe as a quick, one or two second thought, but we are talking about a team of people whom have been in F1 for decades, some of them. They know that whatever happened will come out eventually.

So to hide something like electric shock or something else that incapacitated Fernando would be stupid. The ONLY thing that they MAY hide is something very serious and very personal with Fernando IE: a brain tumor or a serious medical problem.

Even then however, that would only be done for Fernando's personal considerations.

Whatever happened will come out eventually, the investigation will show what happened and most likely it will be what they said. An initial loss of control from either wind, running wide, a mechanical problem or a combination of the above.

The subsequent injuries were also probably what was claimed, the initial hit transferred all the energy to the driver cell and either Fernando's head swung side to side wildly inducing blackout/consussion or he hit the side head pod hard enough to knock him out.

There have been many conspiracies in Formula One, but now adays, the ability to cover them up are just too difficult and will eventually be found out, making the decision to do so, SO not worth it.

Time will tell, as it always does. I imagine by Malaysia or Bahrain we will have the answers.

My biggest concern is it being a personal issue with Fernando, like a tumor or something permanent and horrible. He is such a sweet man, and a hell of a driver. I rate him as the best on the grid today and he has long been my favorite of the current drivers.

Another thing I was wondering, I know it was more of an issue last year, but I wonder if this new Honda power-unit is a pig and he has had to lose more weight than usual and his blood sugar was just very low.

Plus remember Lewis being sick during testing? What if a bug was going around the paddock? Nothing serious but enough to just take the limits and push them beyond.
