She did a super shitty thing in response to Vice doing a super shitty thing to her. Perhaps they're not entirely equivalent, but it's not like she didn't fuck up.

Will vice lose all their income as a consequence for their "mistake"? Will the editor or the writer of the piece be unable to work as writers or journalists as a result of their malicious approach to the subject? That is after all is the effective punishment of SC, it should only be fair that the other party face at least some consequences for their actions. No? Nothing will happen to them and they will probably go ahead and victimize more people? Yeah.

It's clear that one party is being disproportionally punished here and it's no coincidence that it's the marginalized party. Maybe instead of defending the "letter of the law" as far as the various ToS are concerned, we should be supporting their intent which is protecting the vulnerable, in this case SC.
