Victor kiam said "Procrastination is opportunity's assassin."|Understand that procrastination is a cancerous habit that keeps you in mediocrity, habits however can be removed. These 5 methods will ensure you never procrastinate again ( If you don't procrastinate on reading this post) [TOOL]

I think this is terrible advice. While you may take a break from beating yourself up intensely, the need of the work to get done is still going to hang over your head, particularly if it's something important.

The steps outlined here are very useful, even if they could do with some practical examples to help you see how practical they can be.

For example: if you have a hard time getting to the gym, get everything prepared and get your gym clothes on first. Go ahead and watch TV or whatever for a bit, but for me personally I end up just getting up and out the door pretty soon after that. This is an example of the baby steps principle in OP.

Example 2: The work area one is key, and I've heard it better described as "Your work space reflects your mindset." that is, cluttered is cluttered and clear is clear. If you are having trouble focusing, spending 5 minutes cleaning up can provide a mindful break, the satisfaction of a task completed, and the benefits that come with a clear work space.
