How exactly do we provide evidence of a school resource officer doing a good job? You're making the claim, the burden of proof is on you. Statistical proof.
In that career a good job goes unnoticed. I'm a high school teacher and our SRO is a damn fine stand up dude. My one major interaction with him was reporting a gun threat, and he handled it with speed and professionalism. He interacts with the kids in a positive role daily and they all like and respect him.
It's the same reason you can't always trust online reviews - it's mostly the bad shit you hear about while the good flies under the radar.
