I like the fact that you're trying so hard. And that you're trying to give comfort to those with deformities. Most people don't bother. So i'm going to give you something i think you need to do even better work in the future. Some tough love for a few things in your video that i'm not sure if you're actually aware of.
This video is an odd way of inspiring hard work. You come across as a person who believe that your deformity is the reason for your talent. This makes it seem as if you feel a person should work harder than others just because they're different. That's rather zany. I can understand that you probably wanted to kill two birds with one stone by including both the deformed and non-deformed in your video. But because you wear that left hand as a token of pride around your neck the whole message becomes weirdly twisted. Not a single person besides yourself believe that your hand made your success. Someone clearly needs to remind you that you don't need a hand with two fingers to succeed at anything.
Your distaste for other people's patronizing may have provided fuel for some of this willpower. So indirectly you may have benefited some. Point taken. But guess what, you wouldn't be any less successful with a normal hand. And everyone here can see that very clearly in you. I can imagine you've had to withstand more than enough bullying in your time. And it's better to form a strong shield against this than to surrender, right? Hell yes. But sometimes that shield grows so thick that its owner is blinded by what's right in front of them.
It's your sturdy willpower that is is your strength. That's what's truly remarkable here. That's what people are actually envious about. Not your guitar solos. I'm sure everyone knows that they could do those things they always wanted if they had the willpower. But that's not really motivational, or informative. It's just braggy. Showing off what you can do and using your deformity as your right for it is just bad business. No one likes a show-off. It doesn't matter how many times you've been patronized. Just because a lot of other people have done the same and succeeded at herding sheep afterwards doesn't mean that you'll be granted a wider passage due to you being born without two normal hands. Having a deformity will not make you exempt from being stamped an attention-whore. You are well on your way to fame without making videos like these. Don't spoil it when you're half-way there! A rather tacked-on actual motivational speech at the end doesn't really make up for the contents either. Trust me, every single person who seeks motivational inspiration have already heard everything you said a hundred times over without it helping them one bit. This is something that a lot of novice motivational speakers fail to understand. I know it sucks, but the truth is that being told what they could achieve if they worked hard is absolutely useless to a crowd without motivation. Their problem has never been a lack in understanding how to become successful. Their problem is a lack of a true reason to get up and do it.
My advice is to forget about your hand, and showing off your abilities. That's not motivating at all. A talented artist has zero use of bragging since you expose people to your work all the time, and can thus let that work do the talking for you. The reason for your success is your already boundless amount of willpower; that which people who need motivation lacks completely. Everyone who subscribes to this subreddit are already well aware of how motivation and willpower is what takes you places. You can go anywhere with that willpower of yours.
Other people's lack of willpower is a far more debilitating problem than your hand ever was.
