Video shows South Carolina police officer shoot fleeing unarmed black man eight times in the back

The beginning of the video shows the man assaulting an officer. The video also says the only reason the man & officer were as we see them is because he was pulled over for a broken taillight. The video pans left & right and there is no car in site. Should this man have been shot in the back multiple times? I don't believe he should have. If the officer claimed the man had took the taser rather than knock it from his hands, he should be charged with disturbing a crime scene and any other applicable offense. But why would you assault/provoke an officer by knocking his non-lethal defense out of his hand? This man initiated violent contact with the officer. Our police go into scary as shit situations. They're trained to be alert. In 2010 I was kidnapped against my will in a car heading out of state with the promise that I was going to be killed. After what seemed like forever, I was able to sneak a call for help. The way the officers approached when they finally got to me was cautious. They wanted to see my hands, & asked if they had permission to get my ID from my purse. Initially, they treated me as though I could be as dangerous as the person I'd just escaped from. I have never felt this was abusive or even unnecessary treatment. They were there to save me and not get killed themselves- which they did. I don't say this to nullify what occurred and its not the same as what j went through. I'm only saying that our police go into situations where their lives are at risk all the time. If me running at an officer caused him to unholster his gun and respond the way he did (I was 24 yrs old, a little over 5 feet, 120 lbs, crying "I called...that's him!"), then I've got to beg everyone: PLEASE do not hit a tazer out of an officer's hand, do not assault or provoke an officer, do not stick your hand under your shirt-in your waistband-your pockets-or your your purse without letting the officer know you're doing it first. Any time I'm pulled over, I put the car in park, put both hands at 10 & 2 & tell the officer I'll be opening my glove compartment for my proof of insurance so he can be aware. I don't want to get on an officers bad side and be abused with a higher fine or harassment. I DO NOT understand why anyone would hit a tazer out of an officers hand.
