Vince just called - You've been offered $1 million to book a FACE Reigns going over at WM without the crowd protesting. Wdyd?

We have what? 5 weeks of buildup available?

Hmm... that's not super easy. Let's see...

  • On RAW Shane cuts a promo about how nothing will stop him from giving the audience what they want and put an end the Vince/Steph/Heitch reign of terror. He says he's been training, and while the odds are against him he will do whatever it takes to succeed.

Out comes Triple H, sledgehammer in hand, wondering what good will the training do to Shane when he breaks both his legs, or something more pg, i dunno, the gist is eich wants to beat the fuck out of Shane and gets all in his face. HHH is just about to hit Shane when right out of the frame we see Roman come in flying and superman-punch him (think those shots where you suddenly see Bryan coming in with a flying dropkick). Triple H no sells the punch and beats the fuck out of Reigns with the sledgehammer. Make it quick, don't give the crowd the time to cheer, let them focus on Shane using this distraction to exit the ring and get away safe.

  • Next week Roman is nowhere to be seen, Triple H cuts a promo where he says something along the lines of "Roman is been dealt with, and Shane is too much of a coward to show up because he knows what I'll do to him if he steps in this ring" (this also gives you the chance to have Shane look good by not giving a fuck and confronting triple h despite security and other guys on the roster trying to hold him back, but that's another story-line)

  • The week after Roman is still nowhere to be found. Focus on the midcard story-lines. Micheal Cole mentions the absence of reign, wonders if he will be able to face triple h at mania, but he get cut off. No one mentions Reigns for the rest of the night. (It's important to give the crowd time to breath, every show has been built around Roman for the last three months, giving them at least two no-Roman weeks is important to create good will)

  • Week four Reigns comes up bandaged and obviously not in any state to fight, or walk, or exist in the physical world (let's remember that the beating he took basically came just a week after the other beating he, have the commentator mention this). He is doing his smiling and "yeah I'm totes ok and I'm going to beat the tater tots out of triple H" shtick, but while he is obviously hurting and delusional (also make it short, Reigns talking for more than like one or two minutes on the mic is a crowd killer). Steph and Triple H come out being asshole heels, laughing at Reigns, and then book him in a match with Kevin Owens that will happen RIGHT NOW.

So, point is, this is completely on Owens now. He is probably the best heel in the company (just in terms of knowing how to get heat) so he has to do EVERYTHING that he can to not get cheered. The fact that Reigns will put literally no offence in this match will probably help. This has to be a massacre, this has to be almost uncomfortable to watch, Pop-up powerbomb city. No "underdog kicking out at 2.5" spot, Owens beats the shit out of Reigns, then gives him four or five powerbombs knocking him out clean. 1, 2, 3, Owens walks away smirking, insulting the crowd and stuff. The paramedics bring Reigns out.

  • RAW before Wrestlemania. The commentary team hypes that Triple H will have a big announcement to close the show.

RAW goes by, end of the show, Triple H and Stephanie come out. HHH talks about how there is no challenger for him to face at Wrestlemania so he's afraid that the audience has made a very bad investment in ordering their tickets, or something. But now onto the big announcement... since we need a number one contender anyway, there will be a #1 contender match at mania... in the preshow (crowd boos for crappy announcement hopefully). Triple H and Steph exit the arena, the raw logo in the corner appears as Micheal Cole hypes Wrestlemania to an empty ring for a 10-20 seconds... "Wait what? We're receiving notice that Triple H is being assaulted in the parking lot".

Cut to Reigns, still bandaged and obviously not in full-fighting form, savagely beating Triple H by using a sledgehammer (I'd suggest getting a gimmicked sledgehammer so to fully "use it", rather than doing H-hand-spots with it). The rather-one sided brawl bleeds back into the ring, with Steph following and pleading Roman to stop.

Triple H manages to knowck the sledgehammer out of Reign's hand, runs to grab it, but as soon as he moves away Reigns goes for the spear. Triple H quickly saves himself by putting Steph in the way (Steph eats a spear, crowd cheer, Triple H looks like an asshole, Reigns doesn't look like an asshole by intentionally spearing a woman). Reigns sells his hurt shoulder, Triple H pedigrees him and then quickly goes out of the ring with an incredulous expression on his face. Raw ends.

  • Then at Wrestlemania the burden is on Reigns and Hunter, they have to wrestle a great match and sell the story of the genuinely injured but angry Reigns against the heel that would do anything to win. Not expecting the biggest cheers ever for Reigns, but hopefully he won't get booed.
