Virginia is increasing the legal age to buy tobacco to 21 this summer. LAOP isn’t 21 yet and is a smoker.

> All we know for sure is that it is "probably" less harmful than cigarettes, and that's a low bar.

Are you kidding me?
It's 95% safer than cigarettes and it's a low bar?

Who cares if vaping has long term effects if these cigarette smokers will die from lung cancer.
Are you a smoker? I feel like if you don't smoke cigarettes, you do not get an opinion on the matter.

This is about someone who doesn't smoke wanting to look cool. This is about a useful device that chances nicotine consumption away from combustion which is the proven source of carcinogens. It really irritates me when people like you want to stand behind the "long term health effects" argument.

I smoked cigarettes all throughout high school and well into adulthood, for a total about 8 years.

I vaped for 3 years and now I can go any amount of time without the need to vape. Even currently it's been like 3 days? I don't really feel the draw of it anymore. This is all while not wanting to quit smoking. I just naturally lost interest. That's the magic here.

So on one hand, I could have went another 30 years smoking cigarettes, which I was planning on doing.

Or I can vape for 3 years and be clean from any addiction. I no longer crave cigarettes and don't feel the need to vape. I can smell cigarette smoke and feel disgusted and wish they were federally illegal.

The magic is that the vape can make your brain reject the cigarettes. They will taste like garbage and you will quit colder than colder turkey. It's an absolute turn around and anyone who wants to stand behind the "long term health effects" argument can stfu. I hear that shit all the time and it's really irritating because this is supposed to be an alternative for smokers.

Would you goto a recovering heroin addicts and start babbling on about the long term health effects of methadone? Think about what you say before you speak please.
