Yeah maybe people won't agree with this sentiment, but I have a wife and kids, I'm not going to put even half of my money in investments. I'm going to put a minimum 3 months wages into an emergency fund in case something bad happens. Before you say not everyone can do that, you're right! But if you have money to throw into crypto, you should have a backup plan in case something happens.

I'm sorry about your situation, but the fault falls on you in this case. The guy who lost 67k, that one is not his fault. He had savings and they were taken. He had money to invest. I'm guessing he probably didn't work a minimum wage job though.
