You sound like an intelligent guy, and if I saw you at a bar, and if by the shoes you wore, and if by the genuine gleam in your eyes, I could peg you as the type of guy who'd like to dissect race, I'd be down as fuck to drink a few beers while discussing the intricacies of racism with you.

Unfortunately, a lot of people troll or mob out outline (and offline), so sometimes communities have to learn how to play a little defense. There could be a million guys who might echo your same thoughts, but each one would come with different levels of respect, earnestness, and understanding... encompassing minds that range all the way from a noble philosopher in search of truth down to a stained little piece of shit. As it happens to be, the latter are more vocal, more damaging, and more pervasive. Google's interview process makes sure that all their engineers are grounded with a strong foundation in algorithms to minimize potential viruses from leaking into the system and causing mayhem within the organization. There are built in mechanisms and principles in place to ensure viability and homeostasis of certain systems. One of them is optimizing to prepare for the worst.

Someone probably linked this sub. This thread here is probably to minimize all possible damage from those wandering in. I wouldn't take anything here personally.

I rarely drink these days and must get back to finishing a pile of work, so that beer date is out of the question. But I thought I'd leave this message anyway on my little break. I'll end it by saying that it doesn't matter what you label something as. If you changed the word racism to facejizzm, communities of people would still be facing the same exact problems. Problems which are near-impossible to understand unless you yourself have lived and experienced it your whole life. Communities like this aren't for philosophy for philosophy's sake, they are for solving problems that people experience.
