Umineko: Tearing out the Guts; A lets play that examines Umineko through the lense of someone whose read it scene by scene full umineko spoilers

(#s "Please only read the following post and following video if you have completely finished Umineko. I would hate to ruin the story for anyone. Thank you! Hey guys! Like a lot of you I like Umineko. A lot. When I first it read it many years ago as it was releasing it became my favorite piece of fiction, and to this day is something I often ponder over. As an aspiring author the insane multilayered story structure and plot have influenced my writing. And while I occasionally enjoy other Japanese stories, none have had a great influence over my writing and life as Umineko has had. It really is a special story to me. (And for those wondering the other authors I would consider to have influenced my life in a very positive way are Stephen King, George RR Martin, and Poe, to name a few.) Anyway there are a few Lets Plays of Umineko out there, but none from the point of view of someone whose already it. "But Actawesomeamv, why would someone watch a lets play from someone whose already read the story? Doesn't that make it pointless?" Well that would be true for almost any other story, but not for Umineko. As any fan of Umineko knows, it is meant to be read multiple times (and specifically stated in the story many times to do so, most notably near the end of Episode 5). So I thought it would be interesting to do a Lets Play where I would examine each scene of the story with all of the details of the plot upfront. Yasu. The accomplices. The storybook and meta aspect. Anything is game to talk about right away, and I would use my (somewhat limited and outdated) Umineko knowledge to re-read the story and talk about these things. Mostly this is because I want to reread one of my favorite stories, but also because I want to see how many details, hidden nooks and crannies, Ryukishi hid the first time he was writing this. So my question for all of you wonderful people here on the subreddit is: does something like this interest you? Again I am not claiming to be an expert at the story, and if anyone has an analysis I could look at, I would really appreciate it, and of course thank you in the video. I've never really done a traditional Lets Play before and I'm a little self conscious, uncomfortable and rambly, I think, in front of the camera. I did an intro and went over the prologue. I would really appreciate any feedback you might have! Here's the twitch vod: https://secure.twitch.tv/actawesomeamv/v/78145114 I'm aware the sound levels are bad, but if there's a positive enough response I may redo this. I was just wondering what you guys think, and if this is worthy enough to make a potentially hundreds of hours LP on.")
