The sultai will turn to shamanism to use powerful nature spirits fight dragons hoping to create society where only those who are physically, mentally, or magically talented/powerful will thrive and the way to stay in power is to become more powerful yourself rather that cut down opposition. The kolagan clan eat clan members who fall behind cause they not fast enough or become injured. The mardu will see this practice as cruel and unneeded prefering to nurture slow/weak individuals until they are fast/strong. They will simply stop following the Kolagan dragons but in return are now viable raid targets for the kolagan.
