Sounds like a sloppy apology job for the genuine beliefs of his constituents because of negative perception outside the city. The whole value of living there is that it’s separate and out of the way for the most part and calm yet still close enough to Downtown.

Local businesses are having a hard time finding staff but I won’t be weeping for any business owners that can’t compensate their employees enough to motivate them to come in. If a business can’t attract/retain employees it fails and so be it. My favourite local places are busy and will survive. I have no problem recruiting because I pay people fairly for what they contribute to my team.
