VW MK6 Platform Golf etc- What maintenance / replaced perishable parts would require the subframe to be dropped/the bolts removed?

Thanks for the info, I am aware these bolts stretch and they appear to have been replaced with the upgraded AUDI bolts (Audi ones are silver and the VW ones are black from what I have seen/understand)

It's a very difficult problem to troubleshoot it seems, especially for myself, not a mechanic

I also believe even replacing the bolts won't be a long term fix because essentially the holes in which the bolts go into bore out progressively as do the bolts stretch

My car is due to go to the DVSA UK for a in depth investigation so once that comes back I can update in further detail just wanted to get various mechanics opinions and experiences with this issue in order to fully understand - so far it seems to be something VW themselves will need to dig deeper into and provide a fix as currently VW UK refuse to look into for me stressing this is a USA issue and not something they are aware of in the UK
