The price of VZ just crossed the 20 and 50 day moving average. Is there enough strength to support the current buying level? The ups and downs of late create doubt. That said the dividend is covered well by earnings.

Enough people have been burned by loss of share value in T and VZ, that they might not find much support here. I’d hold them through a low expense ratio ETF if that ETF bought shares. Holding them as individual companies is a no-go. They will continue to have a tough go updating/building out 5G towers with high interest rates.
