Wait ...what?

I'm a little lazy to double check what they determine to be the average rates of efficiency of coal plants, and of gasoline engines. Or even to look up what the real output of coal power plants is.

I previously ran some numbers using the total potential energy present in gasoline and coal, and not on what we are able to extract. I was looking for how many nuclear plants would be needed, for their output to match 100% of the energy present in the coal and gasoline used annually. That was 260 of our largest, or 1,900 of our smallest nuclear plants.

I wanted to know the bare minimum needed to turn the exhaust back into fuel, if theoretically they could find an electrical process, and if it were to be powered by nuclear. Bare minimum because this assumed an impossible efficiency of 100%.
