i didn't mention that these girls are usually organized around an older woman. i'd call her a pimp but i don't know if it is a real pimping (in movies, it is usually black latino guys).

such a woman can provide "care", and might even help with money.

it is not the same like with males. she simply expects girls to obey what she asks, and to stay loyal to her (means, not to join competing "motherly" women).

in the same time, she never presented an authority, like those real gangster pimps in the movies. if something went wrong, she usually played "one of girls" - a poor, week, cheated woman, raising alone her teenage daughter.
