It would make since if I cared about the topic of his original argument with the other guy at all...but I don't. I'm specifically attacking his character because he was acting like a douche. Attacking someone's character isn't "ad hominem"...it only is when you do it specifically to try to counter the position they are maintaining. I wasn't doing that...as I didn't care about his position...I cared about his shitty attitude.
