Wanna be film fan

Most people who are under 80 would agree with you that Gone With the Wind is severely flawed, even intolerable. It's not a film that ever got the greatest reviews, it was just really, really popular in its time, a time most people's grandparents weren't even alive. It's obviously well crafted on a technical level, but it wasn't even that innovative in those areas, and imo the only memorable aspect was the cinematography and music score. You might see it high in a few US-centric lists that were made a few decades ago when these publications felt fine with some token confederate nostalgia, and sure its popularity and influence wasn't solely limited to the US, but it's not a movie anyone in the 21st century would be expected to like in order to prove their knowledge of cinema. If you've even tried to watch it, that's more than enough for educational purposes. You'd get a side-eye for saying it's one of your favorites actually.

Blade Runner is very far from the average blockbuster (even in 1982 it was far from the norm and flopped commercially) and if you're drawn to that and the others you mentioned (particularly Call Me By Your Name, which is another favorite here, although I haven't seen it yet myself), you're already very similar in taste to others in this sub. You don't need any special recommendations based on your age or experience. But based on liking the ones you named, I recommend (if you haven't seen them) the 1972 version of Solaris, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, Four Nights of a Dreamer, Mauvais Sang, and almost anything directed by Wong Kar-wai and Pedro Almodovar.
