This war between the people who actually like the show and give good criticism and the people who spread misinformation and hate needs to stop. It's just unneeded.

It's how these things always happen:

New controversial content comes out
Fans who loved the new content spam their love for it everywhere, and a few get are rude / aggressive towards people who didn't like it
Fans who hated the new content get offended their opinion is being ignored, and take the few rude people who liked it as evidence everyone who liked it is a fanatical jackass. They begin spamming their opinion everywhere, and a few get rude / aggressive against those who liked it.
Fans who liked it get offended that now their opinion is being ignored, and take take the few rude people who disliked it as evidence everyone who liked it is a fanatical jackass. Spaming of their opinion intensifies, now with added rudeness.
Repeat this cycle over and over until you have a fandom civil war
