War in Ukraine megathread 2

6 days ago ... after /r/stupidpol got the staggeringly obvious invasion of Ukraine wrong, making fun of anyone who frankly saw what the troops on the border meant+medics there was this post - talking about the encirclement of Kyiv and how it was bound to fall ASAP. Nice call retard /u/BlackMasshole. That's not to say that Ukraine or winning, but lol.

I was thinking about why this sub full of leftists consistently gets these things wrong and I think a lot of it is just how retarded Americans are with regards to Geopolitics. They are the centre of everything, always the main character and anything that goes wrong or right is their fault. Nobody has agency. Best example would be the suggestion that Euromaidan was just a complete US backed Coup where they played the pivotal role, as if being closer to the West is not more desirable than being Russia's bitch like Belarus.

In short, never listen to a Yanks opinion about anything that's not related to their own domestic policy.
