Warren wrote contract for Bloomberg to sign to release people from NDAs

Well, Republicans have been really hurting the country for the last 40 or so years. They are the party of getting the billionaires as much money as possible. They vote in policies that center the wealth further and further to the top.

They consistently support policies that directly target marginalized groups of people.

They deny climate change.

They want to slash benefits that are necessary to people’s well being such as food stamps, assisted living, etc.

When in office they consistently cut taxes but don’t really do much to lower the budget. Right now we’re seeing the administration running a $1 trillion deficit when the economy is doing well.

They’re the party of short term solution now, worry about the consequences later. They don’t really want to take on the bill of necessary investments such as a single payer system. Unfortunately, this has caused people to notice their taxes go down but don’t understand that they’re losing their money long term.

The way they have handled all of trumps controversies is to first deny them. Then they try to downplay the extent to which it occurs. And now, they have basically accepted he breaks the law and believe that it’s in his full rights. They have completely undermined democracy.

And perhaps worst of all, they’re a machine of misinformation. It’s been particularly bad this administration. Anything that supports the opposite claim is “fake news.” Alternative facts are apparently a thing. They use buzz propaganda such as equating all socialism to communism to spook their supporters. And over the last several decades have worked tirelessly to try to keep the uneducated, uneducated. It’s worked extremely well unfortunately.

Make no mistake, there’s horrible people in both parties. The well run machine that is the Republican Party is so much more dangerous than the establishment democrats though. They honestly make me really worry for this country.

I could go on for hours about it but there’s a basic rundown.
