For future reference... The fact that this happened at all suggests to me that there is no pan on the floor. The machine should be sitting in a metal pan with a lip of an inch or two, with the idea being that if the machine springs a leek during a cycle, you wont end up with water damage everywhere. Side bonus, the lip of the pan should stop the machine from moving around.
Anyway, I definitely recommend installing a pan. If there already is one and the machine managed to flatten it on it's way by, you can nail in some quarter-round in front of it. Gives a finished look and creates a strengthened barrier.
Lastly, get the washer drum re-balanced. You can do this yourself with youtube guidance.
