KS cops are terrifying. Lived and work in a extremely community safe middle class area and the only murders or crazy situations I've heard of out here in years are trigger happy gungho kick in your door cops. They dress like swat out here to do traffic stops on soccer moms. Body armor up and down minus the helmet.

One around every corner with brand new big SUVS and unmarked random cars f Dodge rams, chargers, a under cover dodge challenger I see doing stops around town. Just got the monthly county letter in the mail and they are proud to announce multiple new hires and a drug detection officer, which if you look that up it basically means if they think your high you must be, no proof necessary.

Approach your car with hand on gun in holster for a tail light burnt out. I'd leave KS, for a ton of reasons not only this, but God knows how expensive it is to relocate anywhere anymore, working towards it though.

I haven't had major issues personally but I know to keep convo light say yes sir/mam and hopefully move on with my life.
