Hello, I am one of the members of team "ridn". I have been following this post for some time now, and would like to clear up some misconceptions, and give a bit of insight on the situation. We would like to apologize for anything we may have said, or done to promote an unsportsmanlike behavior in game.

First off, we acknowledge that we are not good at this game.We even have a couple gold nova's on our team, and as a result did not have any expectations coming to this lan. We're just a group of friends that severely underestimated the competition that would be presented to us. I'd like to take this chance to clear up some misconceptions.

Yes, we did try our best in all group stage games, excluding the final mirage one. http://challonge.com/wp8csgo/groups You can see in this(if you click on matches), that we did rack up some rounds in the prior games, even if we did get dicked on. We never intentionally "fucked" Cevo Free over. Going into the final mirage game, we were down a large number of rounds, with a very slim chance of even making the top 4. Knowing this, we did what we do in literally every matchmaking game. Have fun. No, we were not mad at each other. Yes, we are a bunch of immature 16 year olds.

We were not around that the round differential between the top 3 was so close, and that we had a part in contributing to each team's success. Cevo Free came to tell us about the standings at around 10-0. Obviously with no economy, no morale, and with the added pressure of being watched, we were not able to win any rounds. One thing I don't understand is them trying to slander the organization's name for something they had no control over. I also don't understand why they couldn't make every round count, when even we took the most rounds against them than any other team we faced.

We were going to apologize to your team specifically, until you started calling us out on several platforms such as reddit and esea. Public slander of our names was uncalled for, even if you thought it was justified.

We did not purposely "throw the game" to not get you through to semis. We literally had nothing to play for, no incentive to win. We understand our actions were wrong, but also think that you guys should take into consideration any wrong doing that you have done, and to stop blaming well played.
