I'm a RichCel. I can live in the Philippines for up to 4 years on their extendable tourism visa. I'm not sure what happens after the 4th year but I guess by then I would find a way to get a permanent residency.

Thing is I am too scared as fuck to live in the Philippines. A lot of articles about crime. Practically every long term expat claims they've been mugged, robbed or their place got hit.

The travel vlogs also shows a standard of living that Thailand probably hasn't had since 1970. Like every place in PHP Vlogs is covered in trash and there's tin shacks everywhere. Even in the nicer areas they don't really seem to have glass windows (LOL).

I am going to Taiwan soon and I heard Taiwan on Tinder is also good for high match rates. Some people have been doing border runs (once every 90 days) in Taiwan for like 10 years because they like it there. So my feeling is if I can't make it in Taiwan then I might go to the Philippines as a last resort.

Well I don't really need hookers or even hookups. I just want reliable FWBs who I can bang for like 5 months at a time.

That's why the whole "just travel bro" thing is bollocks because most countries don't let people stay longer than 90 days.

In the world there's like 5 or so countries that let tourists stay longer than 90 days either through extensions or they haven't adopted the 90/180 rule.

I only recommend Thailand because you said you were scared of living in PHP, I don’t blame you. It’s very rough in parts but Thailand is actually very very safe.

They’re similar but also totally different. PHP is ex colony so they have a strange mindset there. Thailand has never been a colony (capitulators at worst) so they have a strong national identity and culture. It’s very interesting
