Watch service dog calm war vet's PTSD reaction

Well first off I just want to establish I'm not trying to belittle you or be condescending (I'm not saying you think I am, I just feel like text can remove a lot of intention and personality).

The problem with comparing this particular case, or anything that's less than murder (I don't think most things should really be compared to Hitler tbh but that's a whole other thing) on the large scale, to "Hitler" is that is sets up a false sense of importance. You are technically right when you say,

"Just replace 'not taking your medication' with 'genocide' and it still work. 'That's ignorant! you don't know Hitlers mindset!' Ok... comparing this to Hitler is a bit over the top but just trying to get my point across. Listen to your doctors people!"

But that argument can apply to LITERALLY anything. The point is that there are a lot of steps between taking your medication and Hitler. But that's pretending that these two situations are remotely related and they aren't. You cant compare the logic behind not taking your medication, A PERSONAL DECISION (yes it can effect family and work yada yada), to the LOGIC OF KILLING 6 MILLION JEWS AND LITERALLY MILLIONS OF OTHER PEOPLE BECAUSE OF MUH GENES.

TL;DR I understand your logic and thought process, but there are more applicable ways to convey your point. By comparing such a small thing to Hitler it both inflates the importance of this small case and deflates the importance of Hitler. And honestly its kinda dumb, there are a lot better ways to make a point than immediately jumping to Hitler. The media looks dumb when the do it, reddit looks dumb, anyone looks dumb.
