US watched Russia hack French systems during election

True, but there is no certainty of conclusion either. There is a metric ton of "fuck you" at the beck and call of the United States. I don't think any other nation on earth really has the full view of what the sword this country is carrying can do. If they did, they would be crapping themselves with fear at the prospect of a destabilized united states.

Our military is structured in a manner that allows it to function with 100% capability even if our entire government is dead and buried, and the things those people have at their command go so far beyond simple nukes .... lets just say it's pointed away from me, and I'm still scared shitless of it.

So who's going to have their finger on the trigger when reason falls to chaos? The D.O.D with no oversight. And they are going to be blaming Russia. How will a soldier attempt to bring order to chaos?

War.

To paraphrase Sir Patrick Stewart playing professor X "I feel a great swell of pity for the poor souls who force the U.S. military to show what they've been hiding in the basement."

Brilliant yes. Also short sighted.
